Adopting an animal should be a decision based on the animal's whole lifetime not just a rash, spur of the moment decision. We try to place our Adoptable Pets with adopters who look at this as a lifetime commitment. We do not believe that animals should be returnable just because it is convenient at the time. When you adopt an animal from us we require that if you ever need to surrender or re-home the animal that it does have to come back to our rescue because we do understand that sometimes life throws us curve balls that we do not expect but we do not want people to think they are returnable like items we purchase at a store because someone decided they don't want it anymore.
Before adopting an animal please ask yourself the following questions. If you cannot answer YES to all of them we do not recommend that adopting an animal may be a right fit for you.
*You will be emotionally, physically and financially prepared to take care of this animal for it's full lifetime
*You want the animal to be a part of the family, well loved, taken care of and an indoor animal
*You want this animal based on the fact that it should be a good fit with your family not based on other concerns like it's "cool" to have or that you may feel bad for the animal
*You honor the commitment to do everything necessary to properly train, work with, make time for and provide a stable and loving environment for the animal
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE NOT HERE TO HURT ANYONE'S FEELINGS BUT WE ARE THESE ANIMALS VOICE THAT THEY CANNOT SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. WE NEED TO MAKE THE BEST DECISIONS FOR THESE ANIMALS AND WE DO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY AN ADOPTION IF WE SEE THAT IT IS NOT IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE ANIMAL. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.
